Grooming for hair of HL variety is not much different from taking care of human hair. For hair care we use everything that we use for ourselves: human masks, sprays, serums. I do not recommend using non-professional cosmetics for dogs, which are sold in ordinary pet stores, it has a very bad effect on the coat, allergies can occur and, as a result, hair loss, simply deterioration of their condition and skin problems (various rashes, redness, peeling, etc.). Professional cosmetics are expensive and unnecessary if your dog does not participate in exhibitions. Naturally, as for yourself, cosmetics for each dog must be selected individually, something can fit better on the hair, something worse. You cannot comb your hair between baths, this procedure damages dirty hair and leads to its fragility.
Care for the hair of PP variety.
Everything is a little more complicated here. Hairs of PP variety also need to be washed at least once a week, possibly more often if the wool is very tangled. If you are planning to go to exhibitions with your baby, the use of professional cosmetics is recommended. After washing, apply the mask for 15-30 minutes, then rinse. I also do not recommend combing wet wool, it should be a little damp, but not wet, we will again come to damage the hair and brittleness. If the PP dog is not an exhibition one, then you can simply do a mask for 5-10 minutes. Of course, there is not always time, desire, and strength to do this. Therefore, any PP baby can always be trimmed - just shorten the coat, trim it under a naked Chinese crested (usually looks very impressive) or make any other beautiful haircut, there are a huge number of them, for every taste and color. Below I will give some examples of haircuts that can be done. Thus, if you have a PP variety, then you can: grow long hair to the floor, cut under the naked variety, make various haircuts that will make your dog unique and not like others.
